Authorization Code
Authorization code is the most popular grant type used by OAuth 2. WP OAuth Server CE has a full OAuth 2 server built by our experts in WordPress security and user authentication. Authorization Code or simple “Auth Code” is widely used as a 3 legged model that provides SSO (single sign on) capabilities as an OAuth2 provider/server.
WP REST API User Authentication / Authorization
CE provides now opens the door to Bearer Token authorization. Bearer token authorization can be used to authorize and authenticate any call made to the REST API. Bearer tokens are commonly used in OAuth 2 and now it can be used alongside the WP REST API seamlessly.
